An announcement to my readers.

Miscellaneous
A busy Fall schedule

Some of you have written to me saying that they were wondering why there has not been as much posted on the blog of late. And the answer is simple. I have been busy writing and presenting several talks at various speaking engagements that have taken up a lot of my time. I spoke at Cornell University on August 31st and at Mount St. Mary's Seminary on September 7th. This week I will be speaking at Benedictine College in Kansas on the 16th. I am also preparing talks to be given at Catholic University on October 24th and the University of Scranton on November 2nd. I will then be flying to Rochester, Minnesota on November 5th to present a paper at a Word on Fire conference devoted to Ressourcement theology. And in between all of those dates I will be in Rome from October 2nd to the 16th covering the upcoming Synod on synodality.

I enjoy these speaking engagements very much. I meet a lot of different kinds of Catholics and it is really motivating to see how many people out there actually follow this blog even if they do not officially subscribe to it. And I am open to any and all speaking offers. But I have to admit that it does create tension in me since the speaking engagements do take away from the time I have to do interviews on my podcast/YouTube channel as well as my various writing projects. All I can say is that I am just one person! But hopefully in the midst of all of my travels I can at least post some original blog posts around once a week or so.

Along those lines, please do not be offended if I do not always respond to emails. I do not have a "staff" or even a part time secretary. And I get a lot of emails. I try my best to answer them all, but sometimes I just have to turn off my computer for a time for the sake of my mental sanity. But rest assured I do read all of the emails and I will try to respond as best as I can.

Cheers

Larry
