My Latest in Catholic World Report: A response to Adam Lucas on Vatican II and an endorsement of George Weigel's book
War, genocide, East-West Cold War, environmental destruction, issues of racism, threats of nuclear war, hot proxy wars between superpowers, poverty, political corruption -- these were the chief issues of the 1960's. And yet somehow, according to Adam Lucas, these issues are no longer relevant to today's young Catholics. So what is "relevant"? He does not say. But he hints that maybe it is the Latin Mass. Good grief.
