Linked below is my latest essay in Catholic World Report. It is part I of a new series of essays on Vatican II and its retrieval by Saint Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI. It is an essay that argues against the notion that the reforms of Vatican II were "interrupted" by John Paul/Benedict and are only now being once again taken up.
